» Verse of the month

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children are a reward from him.

Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are son's born in one's youth.

Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Psalm 127: 3-5

Service Over Self

On June 12 a contingency of Pack 257 Scouts and parents headed to Memphis to hand out popscicles to groups working to repair homes. After, heavy storms were headed for us causing the cancelation of the picnic and the end of our day. We all learned just how easy it is "To Help Other People".

Blue And Gold

Most Cub Scouts celebrate Scouting Anniversary Week with a celebration called the blue and gold banquet. In nearly all packs, the annual blue and gold banquet, which is often the pack meeting for February, is the highlight of the year. It brings families together for an evening of fun and inspiration.

The purpose of the blue and gold banquet is to celebrate the pack's anniversary, recognize pack leaders and other adults who have been instrumental in the pack's success, and inspire the leaders, Scouts, and parents. Packs often like to invite former members and other Scouting or community leaders to take part in the annual blue and gold banquet.
